About Me
Howdy! My name is Lilac, and this is my website. I am interested in low-level computing, networking, and Linux. When not tinkering with 'puters, I birdwatch, crochet, and garden.
Computers
I write embedded firmware and POSIX/Linux applications using C and several dialects of assembly. I do the server administration for all my own web services using NixOS.

Birds
I started birding in January 2026 when I received a digital camera. I try to submit my birding checklists to eBird whenever I get the chance. You can take a look at some of my photographs here.
Music
I host my own music library of CDs I've ripped. I listen to many genres of music; if you think I'd like something, please give me a CD of it! I especially like old live performances and hard-to-find early electronic music discs.
