# About Me
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
Howdy! My name is Lilac, and this is my website. I am interested in low-level
|
||
|
|
computing, networking, and Linux. When not tinkering with 'puters, I birdwatch,
|
||
|
|
crochet, and garden.
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|

||
|

||
|
|
I write embedded firmware and POSIX/Linux applications using C and several
|
||
|
|
dialects of assembly. I do the server administration for all my own web services
|
||
|
|
using NixOS.
|
||
|

# Birds
|

I started birding in January 2026 when I received a digital camera. I try to
|
||
|
|
submit my birding checklists to [eBird](https://ebird.org) whenever I get the
|
||
|
|

# Music
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
I host my own music library of CDs I've ripped. I listen to many genres of
|
||
|
|
music; if you think I'd like something, please give me a CD of it! I especially
|
||
|
|
like old live performances and hard-to-find early electronic music discs.
