# About Me

Howdy! My name is Lilac, and this is my website. I like computers, birds, and
music.

# Computers

I write embedded firmware and POSIX/Linux applications using C. I administrate
all my own web services using Nix and Shell.

Here is a sample of my software:

Chickadee
: [NixOS Configuration](https://code.grasswren.net/Lilac/Chickadee)

Grasswren
: [Website Content & Hugo Theme](https://code.grasswren.net/Lilac/Grasswren)

Pigeon
: [Code Autograder](https://code.grasswren.net/Lilac/Pigeon)

Tanager
: [QMK Ergodox EZ Shine Firmware](https://code.grasswren.net/Lilac/Tanager)

Sometimes, I write about computers:

# Birds

I adore birds. They are very cheerful little fellows. I take photos of them and
try to submit birding checklists to [eBird](https://ebird.org) whenever I get
the chance. You can see some of my photos
[here](https://photo.grasswren.net/s/public)!

# Music

I listen to all sorts of music. Curating my own collection of CDs and
interacting with my local music scene are some of the most rewarding things
I do.
