+
+Howdy! My name is Lilac, and this is my website. I am interested in low-level
+computing, networking, and Linux. When not tinkering with 'puters, I birdwatch,
+crochet, and garden.

+
+I write embedded firmware and POSIX/Linux applications using C and several
+dialects of assembly. I do the server administration for all my own web services
+using NixOS.
+

+# Birds
+
+I started birding in January 2026 when I received a digital camera. I try to
+submit my birding checklists to [eBird](https://ebird.org) whenever I get the
+chance. You can take a look at some of my photographs

+# Music
+
+I host my own music library of CDs I've ripped. I listen to many genres of
+music; if you think I'd like something, please give me a CD of it! I especially
+like old live performances and hard-to-find early electronic music discs.
